Television Those repeats after repeats To keep us glued to our seats At one time used to entertain Now they will wash our brain Giving us over a thousand shows Do we need that many, I don't know To keep our eyes from turning Few shows that will help our learning To keep us as their loyal viewer They would not want any fewer The effects keep getting wilder We need things a little bit milder The channels increase constantly They remind us too, consistently Commercials run often and regularly Do we really need the stuff?, hardly For the best channels it gets pricey Along with other expenses its dicey Play a game, read, or visit outside Those kinds of things have no fee ©Schizology Television #Television #poem #Cable
