May 29th two am Machinery is making noise Over past the houses Loud bangs and squeaks And honking of horns An air conditioner is running Cooling as it performs Rustling of the leaves Right beside me Nocturnal insects I think Moving all around A vehicle passes by fast Destination bound I'm outside sitting down On the front steps It feels a bit chilly now I think I am done In just a short sleeve shirt The cold isn't fun ©Schizology May 29th 2:12 am #may #poem #Random
