சனாதானம். சனாதானம் என்பது சாதாரண சொல் கிடையாது, சாதனைக்காக பேசும் சொல்லும் கிடையாது, சந்தர்பவாதத்திற்க்காக பேசும் சொல்லும் கிடையாது, அனைத்து உயிர்களையும் படைக்கும் தெய்வத்தால் உருவான சொல், அகிலஉலகத்தையும் காக்கும் சொல், அனைத்து உயிர்களுக்கும் பொதுவான புனித சொல், அனைத்து உயிர்களின் உணர்வுகளை மதிக்கும் சொல், உணர்ச்சிகளில் ஒன்றரக்கலந்த சொல், முதலும் முடிவும் இல்லாத சொல், இந்த சொல்லிற்கு பரம் பொருள் என்பதே உட்பொருளாகும், அதாவது சனாதானத்தை பரப்பிரம்மம் என்றே சொல்லலாம், அப்படிப்பட்ட சனாதானத்தை அழிப்பது என்பது அனைத்து உயிர்களையும் படைத்த இறைவனையே அழிக்க முயல்வதற்கு சமம். இரணியன் முயன்றான் அழிந்தான், பசுமாசுறன் கதியும் அதுவே என்று புராணம் சொல்கின்றது. சனாதானம் என்பது இறைவன் அனைத்து உயிர்களுக்கும் உலகில் வாழ்வதற்கு வகுத்துக்கொடுத்த பொது வழி அதனை முறையாக புரிந்துகொண்டால் நன்று. உயர்வு,தாழ்வுகளை மனிதர்களிடம் உண்டாக்கியது சக மனிதர்கள் என்பது நிச்சயம் புரியும். இறைவன் உருவாக்கிய சனாதானம் நம்மை காக்கும் அதில் எந்தவிதமான சந்தேகமும் இல்லை அன்று பிரகலாதனை இரணியனிடம் இருந்துக்காத்த இறைவன் இன்று நம்மையும் கண்டிப்பாக காத்து நாட்டில் தர்மத்தை நிலைநிறுத்துவர். ஈசனின் கட்டளை சனாதானம். கழுதைக்கு குதிரையை போன்று வாழ ஆசை. பூனைக்கு புலியை போன்று வாழ ஆசை. மனிதனுக்கு மனம்போல் வாழ ஆசை. ஆனால் பிரபஞ்சத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு உயிர்களும் பிறக்கும்பொழுதே ஈசன் அவரவர்களுக்கு என்ன பணி என்பதை நிர்ணயிக்கின்றார். அதன் படி ஒவ்வொரு உயிர்களும் வாழ்வதுதான் உலக நியதி. வாழும் வாழ்விற்கு சிறந்த இலக்கணம். இலக்கணம் மீறி வாழ்வது ஈசன் வகுத்த இலக்கணத்தை பிழையாக்குவதற்கு சமம். பிழையாக்குவது நல்லதல்ல. இதுவே "சனாதன தர்மம்". இதனை ஒவ்வொரு உயிர்களும் பின்பற்றவேண்டும் என்பது ஈசனின் கட்டளை. பிரபஞ்சத்தில் அனைத்து உயிர்களும் பின்பற்றி வாழ்கின்றன ஆனால் மனிதன் மட்டும்தான் வேறுபடுகின்றான். இனிவரும்காலங்களில் மனிதன் மாறவேண்டும் பின்பற்றி வாழவேண்டும் அதுவே ஈசனுக்கு செய்யும் நன்றி.
