હૈયે ઉમંગ છે….
મનગમતો સંગ છે….
પેચ રે લડાવી જુઓ જમવાનો રંગ છે….
લાવો, લાવો, પતંગ અને માંજો,
કહો વાયરાને મન મૂકી વાજો.
આભને તેડીને ઊભી મારી પતંગ, જુઓ….
ઠમકો મારીને એનો નિખરે રંગ, જુઓ….
પાવલો કે ગેંસિયો કે ચાંદેદાર કે આંખવાળો,
આભમાં જુઓને બાંધ્યો ધરતીએ રંગમાળો.
આભ આખું ધરતીનો પર્યાય છે,
ચારે બાજુ પતંગો લેખાય છે.
મારા પતંગના સારવાના થાજો,
કહો વાયરાને મન મૂકીને વાજો.
સંબંધોના સરનામે જામવાની ઓર મઝા,
પડોશીના પતંગોને કાપવાની ઓર મઝા.
ખેંચીને કાપીશું, ક્યાંક ઝોલ નાખી રાખીશું,
ઢીલ છોડી સામેવાળાને હંફાવીશું.
પ્રેમપત્રો આકાશને લખાય છે,
કેવી ઉત્તરાયણ ઉજવાતી જાય છે.
જોને ધાબા પર થાય છે અવાજો,
કહો વાયરાને મન મૂકી વાજો.
