Lying in the eyes are the lies,
told by the people who promised of the skies.
Lying in the eyes is the pain,
which everyone somehow claims to be vain.
Lying in the eyes are the hopes,
tying you down with somewhat a million ropes.
Lying in the eyes are the words.
Never spoken, never told,
making you sense a weird darkness and cold.
Lying in the eyes is the love,
was never valued or given a cove.
Inspite of all this, the eyes shine;
making the world believe,
That it's all fine.
Tries its best to stay quiet and clear;
but, with tears do come persistent fears.
In faith,
its the heart that falls in love and despise.
But, all the speaking and seeking,
