बिछड़े थे जिन से खुद की मर्ज़ी से, उनसे नज़रें मिलाएं कैसे, वो फिर आ खड़े हैं आज चोखट पर, आज उन्हें अंदर बुलाएं कैसे, बातें तो हजारों करनी हैं हमें भी पर अल्फ़ाज़ लबों तक लाएं तो लाएं कैसे? लौट आए हो जो आज तुम, हां लौट आए हो जो आज तुम, तुम्हे सिनें से लगाएं या लौटा दें, ये फ़ैसला ज़हन तक भी लाएं कैसे? माना गुनाहगार केवल तुम ही नहीं थे, फिर भी तुम्हारी हर सज़ा को, तुम्हारी हर बदसुलूकी को भी भुलाएं तो भुलाएं कैसे? यूं तो मरता नहीं कोई किसी के बगैर, लेकिन जो कभी उठा नहीं तुमसे जुदा होकर, आज फिर उस बेजार इंसान को जगाएं कैसे? तुम तो आ खड़े हो फिर उसी बेहयाई से, पर तुम्हें देखकर आंखों का पानी, चेहरे से हया की लाली छुपाएं तो छुपाएं कैसे? जवाब तो हर लाजमी सवालात के चाहते हैं पर तुम से सवाल करने की हिम्मत जुटाएं कैसे, हां सवाल लबों तक लाएं कैसे? नहीं में नहीं ला सकूंगी तुम्हें अपनी जिंदगी में वापस, तुम्हें यह बात भी बताऊं तो बताऊं कैसे, हां तुम ही बताओ मैं बताऊं कैसे, में तुम्हें जिंदगी में लाऊं भी तो लाऊं कैसे?
