Tonight the memories decided to revisit
Me in the form of tears
I cried looking at my phone
Not knowing the reason of this burst of emotions
It's safe to say that you left but these memories will never
A part of me wants to revisit them with you
And another wants to let them go

But you were too precious to be forgotten
So i remember you every now and then
When i can't seem to stop my heart from bleading
It's a scar which gets deeper every time
Your presence in my life revisits me

I wish i could do something
But i can't cause neither i have the power to hate you
Nor do i wish to

So i let my heart blead
When these memories revisit
As it's the only way
I still get to see you
Love you
And miss you
I might say i hate you
But I'll always beat myself up
For losing you
I wish i could stop you
Tell you, you matter
That our bond is stronger than this
That we could give love another chance!
But you went too far this time
Further than i imagined

So this time i took the leap
I decided to let you see me gone
To know what it means to lose someone
But it didn't make any difference
Instead you grew violant
Blaming me for everything that went wrong

Leaving me broken and stranded alone on this road
Don't worry I'll never forget you
Cause you're a scar left open
Which bleads and hurts with every touch

I wish you saw me like this
But you're blinded by your own truth
So i let my heart feel the pain
It tried to surpress and contain

Trying to understand your reasons
But I'm done trying to comprehend
I wish someday i can just see you
As a painful memory
But that's a long way to go

Till then i smile wide
Cause I've heard this

It's a temporary goodbye
