There was a time when : We played outdoors Happily merrily we did our chores, We used to fall and still laugh out loud, We built sand castles and felt so proud, We ran around and dirtied our clothes, A candy decided friend from foes , We had fun watching Tom chase jerry Everyday was an adventure: Thrilling and scary, We fell asleep to our mother’s sweet lullaby Nothing felt tastier than her home baked pie, We rode horses at our dad’s back Down by the corridor he was our steering rack. Gone are the days, Now only sweet memories remain, Ah! How I wish I could venture Down by that memory lane If only! I could venture again Down by that memory lane.
