THAT ONE LIE I must be around 12 or 13 at that time. Not sure. But I am sure it was before my high school. My school was at a walking distance from home. As the entire route was lined up with houses on both sides, walking all the way on my own was pretty safe. We used to call those stretches Theruvu or Street. It is called Agrahaaram in northern Kerala. I had to pass through different Theruvukalu (streets) of different widths and different names. As many people know, as it happens in most of the ancient civilizations, the original City of Thiru-anantha-puram was also built around the great Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple.
