Bright as a flashlight is the moon

White लिखता हु अपनी जुबानी
अपनी हर कहानी
कोई समझ न सके
कोई पढ़ न सके
जब आय गुमान थोड़ी सा भी
मुड़ के पढ़ लूं पन्नों को
ताकि गिर न सकूं
किसी को गिरा न सकूं
आय घमंड किसी बात का यदि
तभी एक पन्ना पलट कर देख लूं
एक पन्ना लिखता चलूं लिखता चलूं
अपनी जुबानी अपनी कहानी।

यही मेरी सादगी है
जिसको हर कोई समझा नहीं
यूं ही बिखर जाऊ
ये हरगिज़ संभव नहीं
हर कोई समझ ले ऐसा कोई मिला नहीं ।
