White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-335 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY When I close my eyes I see you, when I open my eyes I see you. I find you everywhere in what I see and what I do not In my dreams you are. In my reality you are. When I am awake you are in my thoughts and feelings when I am asleep you are deep inside in the depth of my subconscious mind making my life full and fulfilling. You are that refreshing summer shower which drenches my body and mind. You are that winter sun which keeps me going on a chill morning. You are that fascinating spring which paints my body and mind with her elegance and beauty. I visualise you though you are not in front, I hear you though you are nowhere near I see you in fresh morning's dew. I hear you in the raining sound of the distant forest I sense you in all that is serene and beautiful, nice and captivating. You have completely blanketed my mind, neither I see anyone nor hear anyone except you. It is you and will be you till I say my final goodbye Smruti Ranjan Mohan ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #love_shayari SOMETHING I LOOK AT-335 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY When I close my eyes I see you, when I open my eyes I see you. White Heart Wrenching SOMETHING I LOOK AT-255 The Harrowing Tale Know not How to console that mother Who has lost her heart and soul That old father Who has lost his eyes and ears The newlywed Who has lost all her tears The sister Waiting for his loving brother Since days, months and years Know not How to console All those friends Waiting for their near and dear The family Which has lost its bread and butter All those who are part of this nightmare And those who witnessed it from close quatre Know not How to console the man in me Silently enduring the pangs of sorrow Like a mute spectator And all like me Lost in a pool of sorrow Will there be any taker If I say things happen contrary to will But life goes on? Who will accept it When their love and blood Are on the funeral pyre And life on a burning cauldron? What to do Except putting our little bit like a squirrel To help ameliorate the situation Praying for the departed soul And the bereaved family Being with them In their moment of agony and tear Smruti Ranjan Mohanty ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #Emotional_Shayari Heart Wrenching SOMETHING I LOOK AT-255 The Harrowing Tale Know not How to console that mother

White Composed five days after the departure of my mother. MY MOTHER-5 ମୋ ବୋଉ Present too much to bear Future not in vision Past is my only resort Where lies the beauty of your touch My life and love with all its colours My mother! come near Take me in your lap Touch me, touch my body and mind Tell me a story, I will be in your land of wonder Don't leave me alone, be with me I want to bathe in your love once more I was told When I was a kid of some months and years In one side was Yama, Lord of death On the other side you my loving mother The tug of war was for years You made your days and nights speak Without caring for your bare needs The Lord of death had to run away And your unmatched love and commitment Brought me safe from the jaws of death. You were on medicine and surgery With an ailing heart and dwindling brain You had been fighting against multiple ailments For twenty-seven years You fought like a lioness against the tigress With equal ease and smile on lips In your last battle For the first time, I was not with you Is it the reason my maa For which you had given up And the Lord of death got the better of you? White MY MOTHER-1 ମୋ ବୋଉ In your funeral pyre Burning my whole world My love and tears, wishes and ambitions My past, present and future The dreams and dramas We shared over the years When you closed your eyes I lost my vision When you lost your ears I lost my hearing When you lost your brain I lost my reasoning The eyes that do not see you The ears which do not hear you The senses which do not feel you Of what use are these? Now I understand What it means being truly orphaned Losing both the earth and sky In between which I have been all along I am up against reality None in front none in the back None to my right none to the left Life is silently walking on fire If you can see See in your absence how Sad and pathetic life is How poor I have become In few hours I have become the most Unfortunate man on earth A begar in fact I am speechless The poor navigator In the boisterous sea Silently watching the boat Sinking in the deep-sea And I am going deep down In the dark abyss. Never thought of a life without you How to reconcile to the reality That you are no more No more with my smile and tears Happiness and sorrow You are in my heart But I am miles away from you Tell me! how can I bridge up the gap And come near? Black THINK ONCE MORE-2 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY In the chill and charm of a winter night, life unfolds itself with majesty and and tells us in its unique sublime way that we are not what we are.we find life at its enchanting and bewitching best in the scenic beauty of the snow clad mountains,in the blue marvel of the deep ocean,in the labyrinth of the endless blue sky,and in all those near and dear to nature.Life is at its fascinating and fulfilling best, when we are far far away from the madding crowd's ignoble strife, and remain happy and contented with whatever life offers and comes in our way by dint of sincere hard endeavour. Life unfolds itself when we stop roaming and start looking within. When we peep inside, it unravels the mystery and tells us most emphatically that we and the cosmic universe are but one.So let 'let live and others live' be the motto and clarion call of the day. Then only we will be doing justice to ourselves. ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #Morning THINK ONCE MORE-2 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY In the chill and charm of a winter night, life unfolds itself with majesty and and tel

A LOOK AT LIFE-153 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Still thinking about the time the precious time I wasted for nothing. Thinking about them once close to me now nowhere near the horizon. Thinking about my loved ones who took the juice of my life to whom now I mean nothing. Silently brooding over the relationships I cultivated that never stood the test of time. Thinking about the moments I lost to satisfy a few for whom I squandered health, wealth and time who ran away at the first opportunity. Time mocks at me I miserably failed to make sense of it One by one they moved away leaving me to think about time which was once mine. Life laughs at me at my miserable plight the abyss where I am in I often ask me where I erred. "You never valued yourself at any point never cared for the moments that came your way" is the answer of time to my poignant tragedy. I recently watched a documentary about one of nature's survival stories. I was impressed by the concept, narration and facts, not to mention the incredible videography. This sparked my desire to write about this documentary. After writing it, I decided to share it. These bizarre but true ways of nature will never cease to amaze those who long to know more about the animal kingdom and are fascinated by nature and its uniqueness. At the end of this article, I have mentioned the details of the documentary. I named this article "ZOI," which means life in Greek. ZOI ( PART 1) A remote speck of land lies 1600 km northwest of Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean. An island called Laysan. Laysan is home to one of the world's largest seabirds, 'The Layson Albatross'. The Laysan Albatross can glide over the open ocean for hours without a single flap of its long, narrow wings, cruising hundreds of miles daily on an impressive six-foot span. These birds are long-distance travellers, flying millions of kilometres in their 60-year lives. This albatross species is named for the Laysan breeding colony in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. It is one of the most common seabirds in this remote area of the world, and pairs mate for life. It forages while floating on the ocean's surface, feeding mainly on small squid, fish, and crustaceans. A six-week-old white albatross stands alone, along with other chicks, spread across the vast sandy beach. Clinging to its dear life, the albatross looks far into the horizon. This documentary mainly focuses on this particular young white Albatross. I named it ZOI (the Greek word for life). This documentary is all about survival right from birth. Zoi looks around and quacks. Presently, it's not yet ready to fly. Its eyes wander around, looking for a ray of hope, like all other young chicks looking far into the horizon. All the young chicks, including Zoi, eagerly wait for their parents to fly back from the horizon with food. But these parents could be fishing up to 3000 km away in the vast ocean. So, the chicks, including our Zoi, must, in all probability, wait for many nights and days at the open beach, some days drenching in the pouring rain, swaying with the blasting winds, and other days heating up in the scorching sun. Every bird appearing on the horizon brings hope to these chicks. Zoi continues to gaze into the ocean, braving the rain, wind, and heat. He seems to be optimistic, which keeps his hope alive. - TO BE CONTINUED - ©Krishnan #ALBATROSS #Documentary #Netflix #netflixseries #survival #Life #writer #writercommunity Note: The image shown is not Albatross.
