Shall we say no more?
We would like to state
Birthday boy you are great

You can play basketball
Or you can watch the tv
Maybe cartoons are on
You can watch right along

Mommy is so very proud
To see you getting stronger
Older now and smarter
Tomorrow you will go farther

Spiderman is not there
But he wishes you well
Have a wonderful birthday
Now a big boy, you are swell

Birthday cake and ice cream
Presents and gifts from all
Surprises are in store for you
A new red shirt or maybe blue

A blue shirt to match blue eyes
And golden hair that flows
Today is only just for you
Is there a dog you'd like to pet

Or would you like to play a sport
Perhaps basketball would be good
Running down the court on past
Dribbling by the defender so fast
