Why do I feel dejected when I do not see you in my mind's eye Know not how I am connected, why do I feel the pain when your heart aches? Is it love or something else? Know not why I crave something which I never desire. Why do I fancy moving away from reality to the paradise of my dreams though I know it is only for a while? Know not why my heart bleeds, why do tears roll down my cheeks, why do my earth cry in pain, why do my nights become noisy, days so dry when I do not sense you in your ebullient self? I know it is certainly not infatuation, not love the way it is understood It is beyond the body and mind, I do not know what it is, maybe the romance of two souls, hugging each other on a distant isle. when I do not feel your presence?
Why do I feel dejected

Know not
why I crave something
which I never desire.

White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-300 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Just for a few seconds, or at best a minute, look at me that will surely make my day worth living I will not ask for more I know how precious is time of yours Just a few seconds, a few seconds only that will make the old man dance and smile once more Hope a few seconds may not cost you much if it relates to someone's cheer and tears, anxiety and concern. Someone whose only desire is to see you at the top, to see you move on with a smile and grace on life's lonely corridor If I do not deserve it, a simple gesture which will let me go through my uneventful day and night, why shall I be here, for whom shall I be, better if I wither away forever Each relationship is a beautiful relationship, one does not need to name and define it. It may not be between brother and sister, father and daughter, lover and beloved, but It can be as fulfilling and gratifying as any other relationship provided we know how to live and carry it. or at best a minute,
look at me
that will surely make my day
worth living

I will not ask for more
I know how precious is time of yours
Just a few seconds, a few seconds only
that will make the old man dance and smile once more

Hope
a few seconds may not cost you much if it relates to someone's cheer and tears,
anxiety and concern.
Someone whose only desire is to see you at the top, to see you move on with a smile and grace on life's lonely corridor

If I do not deserve it,
a simple gesture
which will let me go through my uneventful day and night,
why shall I be here, for whom shall I be,
better if I wither away forever

Each relationship is a beautiful relationship, one does not need to name and define it. It may not be between brother and sister, father and daughter, lover and beloved, but

I know what it means Walking alone on the thorny path of life I know what it means Moving away from you Knowingly or unknowingly In pursuit of an identity Which is not you I know How it feels When ego comes in between You and me When I feel On my own, I can make it And swim across the whirlpool of life I know How painful it is When I conceive me, My identity, happiness and sorrow As distinct and different from you How foolish it is To think that I am somebody Around which thousands revolve I am the maker of my destiny And all that I see Maa,! When I go away from you To work out the arithmetic of life I fall prey to miseries, tensions and anxieties I know it but commit the same mistake time and again My ego never leaves me It comes in different guises And when it comes You go away leaving me alone In a pool of mundane desire and sorrow Unless you wish My ego will never dissolve I can not get over traces of ego That plays havoc with me Maa! don't add to my ego And run away from me Let my ego melt and the ocean of bliss emerge The prodigal son is at your feet Bless me! Maa!
I know what it means
Walking alone on the thorny path of life
I know what it means
Moving away from you
Knowingly or unknowingly
In pursuit of an identity
Which is not you

I know
How it feels
When ego comes in between
You and me
When I feel
On my own, I can make it
And swim across the whirlpool of life

I know
How painful it is
When I conceive me,
My identity, happiness and sorrow
As distinct and different from you

How foolish it is
To think that I am somebody
Around which thousands revolve
I am the maker of my destiny
And all that I see

Maa,!
When I go away from you
To work out the arithmetic of life
I fall prey to miseries, tensions and anxieties
I know it but commit the same mistake time and again
My ego never leaves me
It comes in different guises
And when it comes
