White A LOOK AT LIFE-115 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Under self-hypnosis One moves away from reality Silently runs in a crowded lane Carrying a heavy load on his shoulder Without being aware of it One sinks further and further Under the burden of Love, relation and infatuation Duty, work and reciprocation Pelf and power Ego, hatred and jealousy Appreciation, accolades and recognition And all that is pseudo and artificial Until one finds himself deep in the abyss His lone asylum Time comes When one fails to carry himself Carry the burden He has been carrying all along He realises Over the years he was just a beast of burden He just becomes a nobody A spent force, a liability With no one around He looks at himself Look at the relationship he cultivated. The life he lived in vain The more one carries The more one worries Few understand it Those who mean it They make sense of life The most pathetic part of life One creates a world on his blood and sweat Only to find at the end an alien world With which he fails to identify. MY MOTHER-8 Today is your day my mother But with me you are no more For the first time, I am in a sea of sorrow Searching for you hither and thither Finding you nowhere except in my tears Tell me my mother! How to find those feet turned into ashes, Mingled in oblivion to offer flowers of my love. I know not whether you reciprocate My feelings, emotions and adoration But I venture to write something It has been my habit since years Let me gather you from the whole of the universe And put my heart at the feet of yours When I was a child You told me stories of the scriptures Every woman is an incarnation of the divine mother. You always insisted to see your replica in women Not to look at her with a guilty mind And faulty conscience These are your words sacred The foundation of life From which I hadly deviated Hope there will be any deviation The way you groomed your grandchildren They will carry the legacy forward With character and conviction My mother! Help me to accomplish your wishes Without Lord Krishna The Gandiva of Arjun was meaningless Bless us to renovate Our village house built on my father's sweat Serve our family deity Lord Basudev with love and devotion Gurudev and three temples built by my father great As you wished With our village, we will stay connected All the rituals and festivals will be as before All those you loved will be in my eye Leave no stones unturned to justify your blood Flowing in me Your statue will be by my father's side Where we will sit and seek your blessings Everything will be as usual But life will be never as before I know for sure You are in another form In a different dimension Merged in the divine mother Since Maa Kali has absorbed you She will be with me as my mother So also all the mothers In every nook and corner In every spring and winter Rain and summer Every day and night, minute and second I will be in the lap of you my mother divine My mother! I have seen you in all And all in you I hope my mothers all over will never let me down Bless me! I will have no problem in identifying BOU! "The Call of the Village" Village whispers, memories sweet, City's chaos, heart's retreat. Fields of gold, childhood's play, Urban rush, dreams in fray. Village breeze, soul's reprieve, City's grip, can't deceive. Neighbor's love, like kin's embrace, Village's pull, a timeless grace. In city's maze, longing's sigh, Village's call, like a lullaby. Nature's hymn, in fields I'll soar, Village's embrace, forevermore. Village paths, where dreams ignite, City's glare, dims their light. Rustling leaves, a gentle hum, City's roar, a deafening drum. Village nights, stars alight, City's skyline, blocks the sight. Simple joys, in village's fold, City's grip, a story untold. Village laughter, echoes pure, City's rush, dreams obscure. In village's heart, I find my song, City's pull, it won't be long. ©Santosh Jangam #poem The poem's moral underscores the enduring value of rural simplicity and the importance of staying connected to one's roots amidst the

He was standing on a high mountain with his hands outstretched. He was very happy that he had succeeded in the work he had undertaken. But suddenly the people standing in the valleys below were very jealous of his success and they shot him not in the chest but in his silence so that he could not speak anything further. By taking advantage of someone's silence you can prove him a mouthpiece in front of others but you cannot shoot the words spoken by someone. The more you shoot, the more the words will spread like fire because silence makes more noise than words. ©#Nikita kour #nikita kour He was standing on a high mountain with his hands outstretched.
