There's disco playing in my head
Music is swirling around
Every night when I go to bed

There's heavy metal inside my brain

I think that is what keeps me sane

There's a country rhythm within
Inside there's line dancing
Notes make my thoughts start to spin

There's some dance music floating

I may have said before
I like poetry
And I always want more

I began in high school
It was English class
Writing was my best tool

Years later , it has never faded
I still write
Most of mine are "g" rated

I write almost daily
I really need to
More often now lately

There's many who write
All over the world
Their poetry is so tight

I will forever be reading
Learning more
I hope I never stop writing
