At the Beach Sand so gentle kissing my feet; far from the floor,away from the street. Wind though gushes and the trees sway, there is still peace here, and for hours I could stay. Sunny canopy on the surface of the sea, awakening me for the future I wish to see. Waves jump and settle, dance and roar, so playful they seem,I don't miss people anymore. Memories float as I rest and calm, like a heavenly abode filled with charm. A castle of sand, some names on the shore, The rippling waves. Nothing was permanent. She sat quiet. Yet the heart beat and breathe Made all the music. Nothing was silent. Except for her soul That had finally made peace. In all that was temporary. Places and People. All that was temporary, just like the sand castles at the beach.
