The ferocious storm Batters my feeble abode; Its gargantuan raindrops, Quashing The humdrum noise. The starless evening awaits Impending doom. All throughout the night, The ghastly wind wails Whilst the frogs seek comfort Underneath the stones. Terror betides my heart, As I hearken to the thump- thump- thump, It brazenly creates. Mayhap--perchance, This calamitous ruckus Shall cease, anyway-- As it should, Like all the myriad Cacophonous travails That shamelessly explore This hallowed solace.
