I don't know what is worse, emptiness or chaos? Here's what I think of emptiness and chaos. An empty room fills your mind with chaos and a room filled with chaos empties your mind- not letting in even your own thoughts. Two mental patients, in an empty room- one is disturbed by the voices in his head (chaos) and has refused to eat or drink whereas there's another one who has gotten too numb to process his chaotic surrounding and has given up on eating and drinking. Both lead to death. And death itself is emptiness to the person it occurred to and chaotic to the ones surrounding him. So there's always a need of balance.
