White "Krishna and Rukmini -2" Jarasandha was enraged! He declared revenge and war on Krishna. Influenced by his rage, Rukmi too spewed anger at Krishna. Reports of Krishna's victory poured in! In-spite of all these celebrations, Jarasandha obviously failed. Krishna was lionized even more by the populace. Fatigued of constant failure, Jarasandha decided to give up the attacks and move away! Yet, tension prevailed. "Father," said Rukmi to the king, "I have decided that Rukmini should marry Sisupala, the king of Chedi." Unknown to Rukmi, Rukmini overheard this conversation! She was shocked that her brother did not want to follow the normal procedure of a swayamvara! At a swayamvara, Rukmini would have the right to choose her own husband! Knowing she would be forced to agree to these preposterous suggestions, Rukmini decided to write to Krishna and ask him for help. In a beautifully drafted letter, she opened her heart as well as her daunting situation to Krishna. This letter was smuggled out by a Brahmin messenger!
