Mother ********* With a simple smile she nudge me to go on, To rise up to the times and never give up, To hold my head high whatever be the case, To believe in myself ALWAYS. She preferred to be inconspicuous, Never taking credit for my achievements, But she was the first one to wince, Seeing me brooding in SILENCE. While I was always the cynosure of her eyes, She hardly was the center of my world, While I surrounded myself with crucial people, She stood afar with pride in her HEART. I impatiently climbed up the stairs, She silently held the ladder down, I sailed the seas, conquered the winds, She stayed being my anchor in the GROUND.
