Coorg with family & friends, it was a long drive of around 5 hours from Bangalore. We started early morning so that we could reach the homestay by afternoon. We reached there by lunch time.. had our lunch and went to the nearest waterfall. The water was too chilled to get inside. Initially everybody was not willing to get inside but still with a brave heart we all entered. Spent almost two three hours in water but still the heart wanted more & more. The twist in tale was when we came out we found so many leeches on our body. They had sucked so much blood and we didn't realised at all. It was so scary to see, only you get is tingling sensation on the skin but it does not hurt you. I had two or three bites only but others especially our friend had many. And we were teasing him that you are the most sucker of blood in society & that's the reason God sent so many leeches to bite you. It was an unforgettable & scary experience since later at night there was power cut, the forest was so dark. We came to know early morning from the owner that a leopard had come near to our homestay last night. Imagine our plight during the stay for the next two days.
