Dripping downpour A pond of healing sits in the valley. A sheet of silver spread over it and drips of water fall on its floor meeting salvation, dripping downpour. The silver screen turns to cloudy haze. Red willows around wet their leaves and as the sky and the land meet, it's a fuming furnace, its steamed heat. There is moving in the soil and sod as the pond ebbs and flows in joy. Caged Thoughts.... That night, I wanted to express the wind touching my cheek, Shining with pearls, a blanket bleak The spotlights shining far away, The mirror darkening neigh, The air hitting my ears, For I knew, I couldn't express, My caged thoughts... From nowhere, came a tear I could hear some smuffed sounds, As if in a straitjacket they are bound I could hear the owl hooting And, see the mist surrounding, For I knew, I couldn't express, My caged thoughts... As I was engrossed in this mystique, The clouds thundered with fatigue, I wanted to venture out beyond this night, I wanted to explore realism's shadows disappearing, But what clutched me was my fearing, The fear of not being able to express My caged thoughts, Because of the lack of words' empress...
