ALONE IN THE CITY Standing in the coldest winter night under the dark cloudy sky where my loneliness is witnessed to the lonely moon. It was half past twelve and I'm very late to return to my house. I've come to the airport to send-off a friend and booked a taxi back home. The taxi got stopped in the midway due to some problem and driver walk for the nearest help assuring me to return in no time. Its been over 30mins. I cannot see even a shadow of the driver. To add to my frightening mind, I find my phone got switched off. Invisible tears crushes my senses for not finding the charger in my bag. Since, the car engine was off and scary alone in the car. I decided to stand out. Empty roads and hauling dogs were only I could see and hear. I waited for long only to feel my heartbeat faster as I hear some guys on the bikes..
