I solicited and requested-- Exorcising the demons; So you'd turn back; Into the one, I love. Yet, each utterance, Offered me zilch. Then, I tried to forgive The demons; Praying for them To be accepted, Into God's iridescent Heaven, above. Slowly, each lost soul Reappeared and Went back To their beloved. Tendrils of darkness, coming closer; touching me. A smoke of utter evil; a maze of the purest black. Reaching, stretching, nearly holding me; This wraith-like apparition; a gaping hell, surrounds me. Standing in a pool of lonely solitude and hazy shadows; In a cold, possessed house; me, isolated and alone. These wriggling clouds, aching to touch my soul; Deluding me into believing that this is the scary truth. Light. I try to find that measly light of hope; Crawling and scrambling to avoid the touch of diabolic scourge. Wishing for a tiny window of possible breakout; With a heart, going thump! thump! thump! Knife. A knife, on the table, appears within sight; A Book of yoked spells and prayers, also, emerges. Sweat pouring down my spine; voices coming in whispers; My hand--groping for the ancient verses--trembles. O God. Save me from this farcical mockery.
