LUC BAT POEM FORM Beneath hell is roaring No lions are roaming but love Bushfire cleaving too close cleaning the land of bliss with flame Spitting fire and aim To demolish axiom place Oh bushfire wait don't smash Let me breathe don't vanish my land The luc bat is a Vietnamese poetic form that means “six-eight.” In fact, the poem consists of alternating lines of six and eight syllables.
