In the middle of a silent dark precocious night, Twas an unfathomable terrible sight the moans and groans of the buried dead, Screaming and screeching with all their might. They kept Calling all and sundry to the nearest graveyard, Their hands with blood and their eyes scaringly bright. Scared are those who have weak hearts, Unflinching it was but a gruesome sight. The sounds were eerie and spooky was the environment People screaming their lungs out and dropping dead without a fight. With doors bolted and windows locked, I sat in, Dreading about my fate and wishing for a saviour, a knight. It was already half past two on the clock, And it seemed as this was a never ending midnight. With ghouls, ghost whizzing past and knocking on my door, I started saying my prayers and wished for the sunlight, I wished I had a magic wand to bail me out, vanishing all my fears and the inkling of fright. Suddenly the alarm clock got ringing on my stand, Phew it was a nightmare, the scariest, to my delight. I thanked my lucky stars and looked out of the panes, ONLY to see bloodied fingermarks left over from the night! My spooky poem is inspired by my favorite pop icon Michael Jackson's ' thriller' .. Imagine the song whilst reading the poem.. In the middle of a silent dark precocious night, Twas an unfathomable terrible sight the moans and groans of the buried dead, Screaming and screeching with all their might.
