Memories
of you,
bougainvillea flowers
strewn carelessly across
the cobblestoned path
my mind traces,
signifying a spring
that my heart craves for.

Bougainvillea leaves scattered,
across a lush green lawn,
a harmonious coexistence,
between biased colours,
unlike gullible humans,
provoked by the white cap.

Orange bougainvillea leaves, masquerading as flowers, a natural deception, reminiscent of people we know; but at least these ovate acuminate leaves, herald the promise of spring. #orange #bougainvillea #deception #leaves #flowers #spring #YoPoWriMo #yqbaba

I've always liked drizzling rain. I've liked bus rides in drizzling rains, more. When the light drizzling gave way to full blown spells, I shut down my window. And the glass to that window, was tainted green. Rather unusual, you see. Watching the city go by, all in shades of green. It was amusing. Such sultry looks, looking their sultriest ever when tainted green, piercing my soul from the stillness of those advertisements.

One evening it was there,
listening to my woes and
being the secret epicenter
of my wild treehouse fantasies,
and the next morning it wasn't there
 anymore.
I'd lost my poetic inspiration
along with my memories of a
not-so-real fantasy of building
lego houses.
