Occasionally,friends remark on the incongruous nature of my dark poetry when compared to my seemingly happy life.I smile & just change the topic, knowing fully well that they just won't get it. As it is, with each advancing year, the number of new friends (not acquaintances) reduces dramatically. Tell me, with how many people can you genuinely share hidden wounds which regularly sprout on stygian nights, when everything seems externally okay but still there is an unexplained sadness & emptiness which doesn't go anywhere, just hangs there mocking you. #darknights #darkpoems #friends #emptiness #YoPoWriMo #yqbaba
