Once not long ago There wouldn't be a day When you wouldn't text Almost through the day Just to enquire about me Asking if I had my breakfast What colour dress I was wearing What I was having for lunch How my day was going Just mundane chats But showing your care Now, you don't text anymore Even the most important of issues do not elicit any response from you Suddenly you've become 'too busy' Especially for me An unknown number gets a quick response from you It took me that long to understand That you were avoiding me And here I was, foolishly giving excuses for you all the time I scoff at my stupidity Hating myself for it #yqbaba#napowrimo#notext#challenge 11/30
