Maa, something has gone wrong somewhere and I'm not able to figure out what. And, I feel I should report it to you just like childhood days. Perhaps you would know of some homemade cure. Maa, I see no magic around. All the magic that I once witnessed as a child has disappeared from my life. And, I question myself what I've done wrong to become so unfortunate. You know, sometimes I throw my wet towel on bed and with closed eyes I wish for it to find its way back to its desired place. But the reality wets my eyes, Maa. With a heavy heart, I then, pick the towel up and hang it to dry. Many times, during school days, I've seen you packing two parathas for my lunch break. I do the same now. But they've stopped multiplying themselves, maa. I never find an extra paratha in my box. True, that I look like you. But sad, that I just look like you. If I be a good girl just like how you wanted me to be then, would you lend me your magic wand, maa? Maa, I see no magic around.
