रात चुपचाप दबे पाँव चली जाती है रात ख़ामोश है रोती नहीं हँसती भी नहीं कांच का नीला सा गुम्बद है, उड़ा जाता है ख़ाली-ख़ाली कोई बजरा सा बहा जाता है  आहटों से कुछ छाप सी छोड़ जाती है सरसरी से ख़ामोशी का सिक्का चुराती है और हवाओं का नमदा बिछा रहता है सायों का आसेब फीका रह जाता है जमघट लगा है ख्वाबों का ड्योढ़ी पर इक बार सोचता हूँ पसरने दूँ खामोश रहता है ये मन मेरा कहीं रैन से आगे बसेरा न बन जाए चाँद की चिकनी डली है कि घुली जाती है और सन्नाटों की इक धूल सी उड़ी जाती है  काश इक बार कभी नींद से उठकर तुम भी  हिज्र की रातों में ये देखो तो क्या होता है - CalmKazi और गुलज़ार #तज़मीन गुलज़ार साब की 8 पंक्तियों के बीच अपनी दो नज़्मों से लुका छुपी खेल रहा हूँ । इस कवि के अस्तित्व में अगर किसी भी हस्ती का हाथ है तो वो गुलज़ार साब हैं । शोभा ख़राब की है उनके लफ़्ज़ों की थोड़ी । (1st and 4th Stanza is his) inspired by Sudhanshu sir and Ayena ma'am #CalmKaziWrites #YQBaba #YQDidi #hindi #nazm #poetry #night #Gulzaar #Description #Moonlight #Imagery #हिंदी #कविता #नज़्म #रात #देखिये #गुलज़ार #तज़मीन

Mellifluous sounds Find their way to me As I hobble Into the garden, Filled to overflowing With magnolias, Roses, and daisies. Ah! At last, a bit of respite From the sweltering heat And the chaotic swarm Of people, All caught up With the demands Of propriety. I pave my way deeper Into the dense garth, Listening To the joyous tweeter Of birds, Far above and free. The amihan cools my raging fire As I sit here near the dried-up mire; I breathe in the woody, evening smoke Created by harried housewives, Preparing family dinners In their little dirty kitchens, outside; I watch their children speed along In a kaleidoscope of mountain bikes, Gleaming with newly oiled tires-- Their voices, a cacophonous chorus Of spontaneity and undisguised glee. Autumn commences another wait As the reliable crickets and cicadas Drown out the raucous sounds of cars From that busy highway by the bay; You're about to arrive, my love, And I'm still deliberating on the words That I'm compelled to utter, tonight.
