When the scientists discovered how to send messages across time, we rejoiced. However, the government told us that this was dangerous and took away the technology from the public. We supported the government. We had misjudged their powers. Just think what would happen if you could know the future, know what people will think, know the election results. The government started controlling our life, our thoughts. Nothing we did would go unnoticed. We started living in a monarchy. These had to stop. We built our own time messaging device. However, because of limited resources, it could only send one word at a time. “𝓝𝓸𝔀.” We sent a message to the past, hoping they'd understand that then is the time to stop the corrupt government. We expected a reply in anticipation, but none came. Out of despair, we sought advice from the future. “𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧?” we sent. “𝓝𝓸𝔀.” Within moments we received a reply, the same message in the same handwriting we had sent a while back.
