"कभी प्यासे को पानी पिलाया नहीं, बाद में अमृत पिलाने से क्या फायदा?" यह अधिकांश लोगों की धारणा हो सकती है किन्तु मेरा मानना है कि जब भी मनुष्य को अपनी गलती का एहसास होता है, वह उस समय से अपनी गलतियों का प्रायश्चित कर सकता है। सम्राट अशोक इसके सबसे सशक्त उदाहरण हैं। "A person has not given water to a thirsty one, What is the use of giving nectar to the people by him later?" This may be the belief of most people, but I believe that whenever man realizes his mistake, he can atone for his mistakes from that time.  Emperor Ashoka is the most powerful example of it. #Atone
