जब गिरी थी उस दिन मैं, तूने ज़रा डांट के उठाया था
मरहम लगा के चोट पे मेरी, धीरे से सर थपथपाया था।
जीत के जब मैं खड़ी दुपहरिया में, दौड़ी घर को आई थी,
खुश तो थी तू जीत से मेरी, साथ मे खुशी मनाई थी,
पर “खुशी में बह न जाना”,सैयम रखने की बात बताई थी।
रो के जब अपना हाल, बेहाल किया उस शाम मैंने
आंसू पोछ मेरे , तूने अदरक वाली चाय पिलाई थी
तेरे हाथों के स्वाद-पकौड़ों के साथ, दर्द की, मेरे परते हटायी थी।
तूने हर मोड़ पे मुझे समझा... मुझे जाना…
मुझे पहचाना… मुझे थामा... मेरे होने को सराहा है।
मैं कही भी हूँ माँ ... तू मेरा सबसे अहम सहारा है…
