White It wasn't the end 🫂

They sat together the whole class,
hands clutched together
his fingers brushing hers,
The teacher spoke, but
they were too busy memorizing
the way this moment felt
sharing a juice by the station,
Chit-chatting bout anything but farewell
As the sun was warm, the air so light
Then they smiled.
A small wave, a turn, taking a step away.
No long looks, no last words.
Just a feeling
that maybe this wasn’t really the end

White Mom, I want to hug you
but i won't as I'm afraid
Mom: oh dear ,why?
Afraid I might cry as
I can't go back to being two again
to Giggle & fight in your arm all night
Now that I'm 20 and
have responsibilities to fulfill,
it scares me mommy
What if i disappoint you?
What if i couldn't succeed?
What if i couldn't make you proud?
What if all the money drawns?
What if i fail you ?
what will happen then?
Would you still see me as the same ?
Would I still be your golden kid ?
Would you still believe in me ?
Oh all these thoughts are so heavy
And Everytime I want to hug you
These thoughts begin to haunt me
Making me feel unworthy
of your warm embrace .

Unsplash Too much ☀️

I speak, and they flinch.
I breathe, and they sigh.
Like my existence is a crime,
Too fluent, too firm,
too much of everything they despise.
I don’t ask for hands to hold,
but damn, some days, I wish I could.
I sit with my sorrow,
let it settle in my bones,
because who do I even tell,
when no one listens, only throws stone?
Maybe if I disappear,
they’ll finally exhale.
Maybe if I vanish,
they’ll have one less name to hate.
