There is a ritual in odia families, a bride to perform while reaches her in-laws. She has to collect some plates from one place and keeps it in somewhere else. Condition is there should be no sound during the whole process. If sound occurs, then it is said that bride is going to be unlucky for her in-laws family. She will create disturbance in the family. Once it happened to a bride and whenever any disturbance occured among the family members, the bride was to hear bitter words for the happening. She never replied to any of the comments. During such moment she gets her eyes full of tears and becomes angry only with a pinch of sand present on the floor while performing the ritual. Rituals are rituals....
