তাইওয়ানের ভূমিকম্পে নিখোঁজ এক মহিলা-সহ দুই ভারতীয়, খোঁজ চালাচ্ছেন উদ্ধরাকারীরা বুধবারের ওই কম্পনের উৎসস্থল ছিল পূর্ব তাইওয়ানের হুয়ালিয়েন সিটি থেকে ১৮ কিলোমিটার দূরে ভূগর্ভ থেকে ৩৪.৮ কিলোমিটার গভীরে। তাইওয়ানে বুধবার সকালের ভূমিকম্পের ঘটনার পর এক মহিলা-সহ মোট দু’জন ভারতীয় নাগরিকের সন্ধান মিলছে না। ওই ‘দ্বীপরাষ্ট্রের’ সরকারি সূত্রে এ খবর জানা গিয়েছেন। তাঁদের সন্ধান শুরু করেছেন উদ্ধারকারীরা। বুধবারের ওই কম্পনের উৎসস্থল ছিল পূর্ব তাইওয়ানের হুয়ালিয়েন সিটি থেকে ১৮ কিলোমিটার দূরে ভূগর্ভ থেকে ৩৪.৮ কিলোমিটার গভীরে। তার অদূরের টারোকো গর্জ এলাকায় ওই নিখোঁজ দুই ভারতীয়কে শেষ বার দেখা গিয়েছিল বলে প্রকাশিত খবরে জানানো হয়েছে। তাইওয়ানের রাজধানী তাইপেই থেকে ওই এলাকার দূরত্ব প্রায় দেড়শো কিলোমিটার। ইউনাইটেড স্টেটস জিওলজিক্যাল সার্ভে (ইউএসজিএস) সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, স্থানীয় সময় অনুযায়ী বুধবার সকাল ৮টা নাগাদ কেঁপে ওঠে তাইওয়ানের মধ্য এবং দক্ষিণ-পূর্বের বিস্তীর্ণ এলাকা। রিখটার স্কেলে এই কম্পনের তীব্রতা ছিল ৭.৪। প্রবল কম্পনের ফলে একাধিক বহুতল এক দিকে হেলে পড়ে। ©BANGLE TIMES #Taiwan #Earthquake
