She never gave a second thought, She needed a shoulder to cry on. She never gave a second thought To what would be done to her if she opened up. But, the load was so heavy It bruised her all over. She bled all over. And the pain grew deep. All she needed, Was a shoulder to weep. She was tired of speaking And telling where it hurt. People got tired of anointing her wounds. On somedays, her blood stained their skin. They hit her ,spat on her, cursed her. Calling her filthy. There were a few other who blamed her. "You should have come earlier" The same one's who cringed at the blood. Now, called themselves the saviour. She still weeps Her pain has grown deep. She knows now , No sholulder shall let her weep.
