Unsplash Education is a right not a privilege. Education, a right, not a privilege few, Should be free for all, boys and girls, anew. Illiterate minds would blossom and grow, Knowledge and wisdom would start to flow. But caution is needed, lest it's abused, Free education might be misused. Some might take advantage, without a care, Disrespecting teachers, and education's share. Respect is earned when value is placed, On the learning process, and educators' pace. Free education's benefits would then be unfold, Empowering minds, young and old. Yet, structure and rules must be in place, To ensure respect and a willing pace. For education's value to truly shine, It must be cherished, and not left behind. ©Jeetal Shah #Education is a right not a privilege. White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-209 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY DAY AFTER-5 Today is not the same as yesterday And yesterday the day before Both are beautiful but not the same Neither today nor yesterday Only change is permanent And you are to keep pace If you do not want to miss your present It is futile To search your yesterday in today Today in your tomorrow Tomorrow is yet to come And your today is as beautiful as yesterday Only you are to be with yourself And have the eyes to appreciate the difference Things you have amassed may not remain But the people you have earned Their goodwill, unalloyed love and concern Will never go away Nothing but selfless love remains Till the very end The beauty of life Rests on love and reciprocation If you are not a hypocrite True to others and yourself Be sure! you will never be out of place If you visit your old place You will find the same caring eyes The same throbbing heart Greeting you with all its warmth And you will never feel like a foreigner An alien in other's space Smruti Ranjan Mohanty ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #good_night SOMETHING I LOOK AT-209 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY DAY AFTER-5 Today is not the same as yesterday And yesterday the day before

Adani indictment may test Trump's desire to keep India in US orbit For India in particular, the charges against Adani only reinforces its strategy to keep a foot in both major camps, staying friendly with the US while also keeping up good ties with Russia, China In 2018, the arrest of an executive with Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies Co for breaching US laws shocked President Xi Jinping’s inner circle and raised questions over whether Donald Trump would intervene in the case. Trump now faces a similar dilemma after US prosecutors charged Gautam Adani — India’s most powerful businessman and a close ally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi — in a $250 million bribery scheme. While Modi’s party called it a private matter, and Adani’s company denied the allegations, the case threatens to roil US-India diplomatic ties. ©SHIRSENDU KARMAKAR #Adani

Adani CFO defends against US charges, says linked to one business contract Group CFO Jugeshinder Singh sought to defend allegations saying none of Adani's 11 public companies 'are subject to indictment' or 'are accused of any wrongdoing in the said legal filing' A US bribery indictment of Indian billionaire Gautam Adani is linked to one contract of Adani Green Energy comprising some 10 per cent of its business, and none of the conglomerate's other companies are accused of wrongdoing, the group's CFO said on Saturday. On Wednesday, Gautam Adani, one of the world's richest men, and seven others were indicted for fraud by US prosecutors over their alleged roles in a $265 million scheme to bribe Indian officials to secure power-supply deals. ©SHIRSENDU KARMAKAR #Adani
