Running a startup, one of the hardest decision when it ain't running as expected is whether to keep it going or shut it off. Focus on your startup's growth and not on merely running it. It is good to have patience but calculate your chances of growth. Growth ain't always easy but is always evident. If you keep patient you may even sell some ice to an Eskimo at the artic once a year. But that's not how business runs. That's not what growth it. Doing some sales once in a few months ties you with the thread of hope. A thread that won't choke you up right but will slowly suffocate your time and energy. An undead or zombie startup as they say is far worse than a failed startup.
