My 5 y/o cousin touched a Mimosa pudica today not knowing that it's sensitive to alien touches. And I saw how it curled itself up, for quite a long time, as if her touch still lingers over its leaves. Isn't it how our wounds are renewed? Some things, we come across, hit those strings of our heart which lie there, broken. Breaking the broken. Breaking us. For the nth time. And counting.
