Only that deed is worth the reward which is according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah. Ayesha (R.A)relates whenever the Messenger of Allah ordered his companions to do a thing,He would order only that matter which they could do.The companions would say,”Are we (beloved of Allah)like you.Allah has forgiven all your mistakes,past and future (therefore let us worship more)”.Whenever he heard such statements he would be so angry that the traces of his anger would be visible in his face.He would say: “Definitely I am more abstemious and know the commands of Allah more than you all.” #sunnah

The Sahabas never questioned the Sunnah or way of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W),they never wanted to understand the logic or wisdom behind any act or deed which the Prophet did.They just followed him,as it was an obligation, without question. #sunnah

Quran is indeed the Word of Allah,but the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) are also approved by Allah.They are the commands of Allah which were put into action by him for the Human Race to follow and practice. #Sunnah

By over looking the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah some religious commands become incomplete or not clear.To completely understand and act upon the religion,it is necessary to obey and follow the Sunnah along with the Holy Qur'an. #Sunnah

Matters not approved by the Messenger of Allah regarding funeral. 1. To believe that the Prophets,Saints or other pious people lying in the grave hear one's request and know one's circumstances,acts and intentions as they did in the lives. 2. To arrange specially to visit Baqi(graveyard in Madina) on every Friday. 3. To visit Baqi compulsorily after the visit of the grave of the Messenger of Allah. 4. To kiss, touch or to rub with body,the lattice of the grave of the Messenger of Allah with an intention to attain auspiciousness. 5. To say,"Through the dignity of Muhammad Oh Allah!Cure me"or to say,"O Allah! Accept my prayer through the mediation of the Messenger of Allah. #Disapproved Sunnah

. To place the desires and wishes in written or to put hair on the graves of Prophets, saints or other pious people. . To seek mediation of Prophets, Saints or other pious people and supplicate. . To rub one's body or cheeks with the wall of a tomb or a grave. . The woman's rubbing of her body with the wall of a tomb or a grave with an intention to get conceived. . To keep face to the grave or tomb praying g for those lying in the graves. . To utter these words at the grave of a prophet or any pious people,"Oh such and such !Pray for me to your Lord." . To Convey Salam to a dead Prophet, saint or a pious man through those who visit the grave. . To consider the dust of the graves of Prophets, saints or any other pious people as a source of cure. . To lay flower sheath or scatter flowers or to sprinkle scent on the graves of Prophets, Saints or other pious people. . To believe that the pray are granted acceptance near the graves of the Prophets Saints or other pious people. .
