Crippled, I was. She'd give me piggy-back rides. Blind, I was. She'd say the world was never worth seeing. Deaf, I was. She'd make me speechless too. Dumb, I was. She'd hear my silence better. I would stammer. She'd say my words were worth the wait. I would blabber. She'd hear it out. I brought her shame. She gave me a second chance. I brought her pride. कहीं की ईंट कहीं का रोड़ा, भानुमति ने कुनबा जोड़ा । This is a common saying in Hindi which means - to collect mismatched things and put them to some useful use. During the Mahabharata period, Duryodhana forcibly made Bhanumati his wife on the strength of Karna.  But see the result of Kalachakra that after some time under strange circumstances the daughter of Bhanumati and Duryodhana got married to the son of Krishna.This is why people often use the term "Bhanumati's Family" to refer to mismatched families in their colloquial speech, and on the other hand the above saying is used for people who store some mismatched things to make them useful for themselves.
