Below the hefty, swaying mango tree-- In a spot of crisp grasses awaiting-- I sit with a fresh book of poetry And begin a silent, joyful reading. Amongst dandelion blooms, leaves, and twigs, I find some chapter of erstwhile fairies; With a bottle of cool water for swigs, I commence another day beside trees. Oh enchanted maiden of auld magic, Permit me a wondrous escape to bliss! Suffuse me with the pink sparkles, I seek, From the lands of Forgetfulness and Peace.
