Being the largest democracy in the world, it enjoys significant democratic setup and administration. There is a well described and very sound Constitution which clearly differentiates the activities and protects the authorities of legislatures, executives and judiciary, the three pillars of Indian democracy constituting the Government. The Constitution is also well protecting the outer private fourth pillar, the media which is functioning with great independence.
