You write 'I' on one page and 'Love' on another, keeping the rest of the pages empty. Then you give her the book and request that she open it only after you leave.  Leave immediately; hide at a place from where you can see her, but she cannot. She then opens the first page, looks at the 'I' written, and then flips the next page to find 'Love' written. She takes a deep breath, looks around to see if anyone is nearby before flipping to the next page, and is shocked to see an empty page. Now, she turns to the next page again and is surprised to see another empty page. The anticipation of what's on the next page of the book is building up. Now, if she increases the speed of flipping the pages after realising, it's empty on each page and frantically shakes the book to see if any piece of paper falls out, she definitely has something to do with you! White It's funnier because it's coming from me Everyone knows I don't deserve the love On this red elegant carpet of beauty There is zero value of a curve But still, dear you, oh my beloved If this has reached your lovely hands I hope you read it to the very end Where the last word eagerly stands You ask me what did I ever want? Holding hands? Hours of time? I do not remember wishing for these Even for a person to call "mine" I do not remember talking about love As much as I have ever written I do not find myself wondering about love Or what my near future has gotten But if you really exist in that world And made it to the future I write about I am sure you had a long journey From east to west, and north to south If we exist, if I have become better I hope that now I am more lovable I hope we go on the night walks And chat a lot on the dining table I hope there are stars, and they shine When the night turns blue for us And all you have to do is bring a flower Whenever I make a little fuss A cup of coffee, I won't ask for much, When I'm beside window, filling the pages I am sure I will do the same for you, When the life puts us on the tough stages Together, it will be easier to conquer If there really is such a future Until then, I must keep thinking about you And write you poetries, it's human nature And know that it took me hours to write I paused a lot to cry out loud As it took years for you, too, To notice me in the nonexistent crowd ©Anagha Ukaskar #Sad_Status #Love #Nojoto #poem
