It was a dark night, I turned towards right, Someone tried to take me down, One pushed me from back and I laid down, They were four and I was alone, My mouth was kept shut and my breath has gone, Their faces were covered, And they left my body uncovered, My eyes were open and tears continued to flow, From that day my face lost it's glow, It is not a nightmare, It is part of the scars, I have not forgotten.... ( From the diary of a rape victim ). Not forgotten- this phrase is meaningless for me. So, In this prompt I tried to write a poem from the point of a rape victim.
