Picnics were always fun and food and a day away with family and friends. It was much later in life that I picnicked with friends alone. I must have been in class 9th that we friends decided to visit an aquaduct that was a picnic spot. Off on bicycles ( that was the only mode of commuting for all of us) we all reached the aquaduct with gushing water that was too rapid for venturing into and warnings were displaced all around not to venture in the water.
