#Bittersweetmemories Homecoming... Meera returned after completing her graduation from a foreign university. It was a long wait for parents who had never had any dearth of money or love. A happy family, good friends and relations and by God's grace a daughter who had aspirations to serve the people. However, the homecoming didn't excite her to the extent it should. Though there were welcome smiles, sweet complements and wishes from near and dear, Meera seemed a little off. This didn't go unnoticed by the parents. Once they three were alone after everyone else left, her parents asked the reason behind her gloomy looks. She replied," Though, I talked to you people daily, I wanted to discuss this face to face. I overheard your conversation while I was leaving at the airport the other day. How did you think I would settle there without you both. If I go, you both go with me, or I shall settle here." Tears started rolling down the cheeks of theirs. They were perplexed. They hadn't expected the bird would come back to the nest. They didn't want to jeopardize her freedom with their love.
