Poverty - A glance After keeping my phone aside Once I went to the balcony at night While I came out from AC I saw a person dressed grimy While I was having my cell phone That guy was picking up garbage & stones While I ate chapati & rice & pulses That guy was searching left over pieces Seeing him ,my heart filled with guilty I wondered how can we be so happy ? When people like us aren't even aware of their identity , How can we all sleep so peacefully! Trust - A short poem Trust asked - Why am I broken each time? Is it so difficult to keep me ? Why I ruin the relationships? I am asking, answer me ! Heart replied - Cause you are the root of every bond If you are there then each relation is strong! You are made to keep not break , You are like a foundation stone. Trust said - Now I understand the importance of mine Where there is righteousness There is lie ! You can keep me only if you are true !
